About Siblings with a Mission
Siblings with a Mission is an international organization dedicated to support siblings who have brothers or sisters with complex health conditions. We serve both siblings and sibling supporters (parents, grandparents, friends, health care providers, professionals, etc.) of all ages and all backgrounds. We offer support through our online story columns where siblings and families can share stories and exchange insights with others, a resource database where members can find other organizations and resources, a web and video chat forum where siblings can connect with others who share similar experiences, and sibling workshops and family conferences that we host around the world. By joining Siblings with a Mission, siblings and families can share their stories and make lasting, meaningful friendships with others. Siblings with a Mission hopes to create an exchange of perspectives that will provide support and spread awareness of what it is like to live with a someone who has a complex health condition or disability. Through our platforms, we hope to inspire siblings and families to enjoy every moment and to use their unique stories to make a difference. We encourage all siblings, family members, friends, professionals, and interested individuals to join us on our mission.
So please join us today, and let's help our community together!

Sibling Support Groups

Siblings with a Mission offers support to siblings and families of all backgrounds. Though we provide support to everyone, we recognize some siblings want to receive support that is tailored to their individual experiences. Recognizing this need, Siblings with a Mission has the following subgroups that focus on a specific diagnosis or disability:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Down Syndrome
  • Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS)
  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Sibling Grief Support
For more information on the Support Groups, click here.
If your sibling has a diagnosis that does not correspond to the categories listed above, click here.
We are always willing to create more support groups!

A Message to Siblings and Sibling Supporters:
