Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Sibling Supporters,

As you know, a disability affects everyone in a family. Parents often spend a lot of time with their child with special needs and consequently do not have much time to spend with their other children. We understand this and that is why we created Siblings with a Mission: to support siblings. Though Siblings with a Mission primarily serves siblings, you are more than welcome to join our organization. In fact, we encourage it - especially if you support a younger sibling.

Siblings with a Mission was created by siblings to help other siblings. The team is comprised of leaders who are in high school, college, medical school, and beyond. Our team includes members of various ages and backgrounds so that we can provide support to siblings from around the word.

Please advise siblings to join our organization (click here) and participate in our monitored video conversations and sibling workshops. We understand what it's like to be a sibling of someone with special needs. We are here to support and show siblings how they can make the best of every situation.

As a parent, grandparent, or sibling supporter, remind siblings when video conversations and sibling workshops take place. Check our Upcoming Events page for a schedule. Siblings will also receive an email regarding schedules for video conversation and sibling workshops. Also, please share our stories with siblings!

To receive information regarding upcoming events and advice and education articles written by members, sign up for our newsletter here and like us on Facebook!

Lastly, please remember that siblings have needs too. They have questions, worries, and emotions. Help siblings as best as you can. With your help, we can show siblings how to have fun and make the best of every moment with their brother or sister.

Thanks,
The Team at Siblings with a Mission
