“Can Xbox Video Games Really Help Kids with Special Needs?”

How many of you play video games? Is Xbox one of them? Do you have a siblings with special needs? Then continue reading.
Recently, an elementary school in Virginia, United States has started helping kids with special needs through Xbox Kinect. Yes, you read correctly. Though Xbox Kinect is not specially designed for kids on the spectrum, there are many ways it can be used to help.
Since Kinect has been introduced in the Virginia elementary school, teachers can easily and efficiently teach social and communication skills. According to one teacher, students with special needs are more motivated when playing the video game and their physical skills have improved a lot. Multiple kids are made to play together in order to improve their social interaction skills. In addition, video games can ameliorate an individual’s motor skills.
Xbox Kinect has helped many individuals with special needs and it’s quite affordable for many schools. Xbox Kinect can also be used at home as it doesn't require professional assistance.
So grab a video game and invite your sibling to play. It may help them a lot!
